R&L Scaffolding Ltd is seeking a full-time HGV Driver/Labourer to join our team in Liverpool. The role involves the safe transportation of scaffolding materials to and from sites using HGV vehicles, assisting scaffolders on-site when required, and supporting daily yard and loading operations. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate HGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of scaffolding materials
  • Load and unload scaffolding equipment safely and securely
  • Assist scaffolders and labourers on-site when required
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company safety procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of vehicles and yard areas
  • Support the team with general labouring duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience
  • Experience handling and unloading scaffolding materials preferred
  • Good understanding of transport and site safety regulations
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour in all weather conditions
  • Previous scaffolding or construction experience is advantageous
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to safe working practices
