Are you a strategic sales leader with a proven track record managing complex, high-value sales cycles in the tech and automation space? We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for a global provider of integrated automation and material-handling solutions.
This is a player-coach role — ideal for someone who thrives managing 12+ month sales cycles and enterprise deals exceeding $20M, while leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
What You'll Do- Lead end-to-end sales execution for multi-million-dollar projects, from lead qualification to contract negotiation and handover to the realization/implementation teams.
- Manage complex, long-cycle deals (12–24 months) with multiple stakeholders, including executives, consultants, and end-users, ensuring alignment throughout the sales process.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap, identifying high-value market opportunities and competitive threats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners, acting as the primary escalation point for client matters.
- Coach, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and customer success.
- Drive revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and margin goals.
- Ensure CRM accuracy, process standardization, and adherence to structured sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman.
- A proven sales leader with experience managing large-scale, technical solution sales with 12+ month cycles and deal sizes of $20M+.
- Demonstrated success in complex enterprise environments, including material-handling, automation, or high-tech systems integration.
- Skilled at coaching and leading high-performing sales teams, while also personally managing key strategic accounts.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 60% domestic and international).
- Proficient in CRM systems and experienced implementing structured sales methodologies.
