Our client is a growing and ambitious business specialising in IT component distribution and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services across the UK and Europe. They work with a wide network of OEMs, enterprise customers, resellers, and technology partners to source and redistribute high-volume IT hardware and components.

They are looking for a commercially driven Purchasing Executive to join their procurement team. This role is focused on sourcing high volumes of servers and IT components from both existing OEM customer relationships and newly developed supplier channels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong purchasing, procurement, IT hardware trading, or supply chain experience who enjoys building relationships, negotiating deals, and identifying profitable sourcing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source high volumes of servers and IT components across the UK and Europe (CPU, RAM, HDD, SSD etc)
  • Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, resellers, data centres, and enterprise customers
  • Generate new sourcing opportunities and supplier channels through outbound activity, networking, and market research
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements to maximise margins and business profitability
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to secure consistent stock availability
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and product availability within the IT hardware sector
  • Identify opportunities for strategic purchasing and long-term supplier partnerships
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, trading, or sourcing within IT hardware, technology, electronics, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of servers, IT components, enterprise hardware, or data centre equipment
  • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, resellers, or IT supply chains is highly desirable
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially aware with strong attention to margins and profitability
