The Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of developing new business opportunities across mid-market and enterprise organisations throughout the UK.
You'll identify prospects, engage senior decision-makers, and position a comprehensive portfolio of secure ITAD, data destruction, asset recovery, refurbishment, and sustainability services.
This is a consultative sales role where your ability to uncover opportunities, influence stakeholders, and deliver commercial value will be the key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic new business plan to generate sustainable revenue growth.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new enterprise and commercial customers across the UK.
- Build relationships with IT Directors, CIOs, Procurement teams, Sustainability leaders, and senior decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract award.
- Generate opportunities through outbound activity, networking, referrals, and strategic account targeting.
- Deliver compelling presentations and solution proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and developments within the IT lifecycle and circular economy sectors.
About You
You'll be commercially driven, highly self-motivated, and genuinely enjoy the challenge of winning new business.
- Proven success in a hunter-focused Business Development or Senior Business Development role.
- Experience selling ITAD, IT lifecycle services, managed services, recycling, technology, or related B2B solutions.
- A strong track record of exceeding new business revenue targets.
- Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to develop opportunities from cold outreach through to contract signature.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
