Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven European Trading Manager to take ownership of our device sourcing and trading activities across Europe.

This is a hands-on commercial role focused on sourcing new and used mobile phones and devices, negotiating the best possible purchase prices, managing inventory, and maximising resale value through downstream channels.

If you know the European mobile device market, understand where the best stock comes from, and have the commercial instinct to buy right and sell smart, we want to hear from you.

As European Trading Manager, you will sit at the heart of our trading operation, building a strong network of suppliers and buyers across European markets.

You will be responsible for identifying and securing opportunities across:

  • New devices β€” smartphones, tablets and related consumer electronics.
  • Used devices β€” graded, tested, refurbished and pre-owned stock.
  • Trade-in and excess inventory β€” sourcing devices from retailers, distributors, networks, trade-in programmes and other commercial partners.
  • Wholesale opportunities β€” identifying market imbalances and buying stock where pricing creates a compelling resale opportunity.
  • Downstream sales β€” placing devices with the right customers, wholesalers, retailers, exporters and other distribution channels.

You will continuously monitor market pricing, supply, demand, currency movements, device grades, product launches and regional price differences to identify opportunities and protect margins.

This role is for someone who wants to build, not simply manage.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain a pan-European network of suppliers, distributors, wholesalers and downstream buyers.
  • Source competitive volumes of new and used devices.
  • Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, delivery terms and commercial agreements.
  • Assess stock quality, grading, condition, specifications, IMEI/status considerations and marketability.
  • Determine the best channel and market for each category of stock.
  • Create and execute buy-to-sell trading strategies based on real-time market conditions.
  • Manage trading margins from initial purchase through to final resale.
  • Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure stock moves efficiently across Europe.
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and develop strategies to maximise recovery value.
  • Build pricing models and trading reports to support purchasing and sales decisions.
  • Develop new supplier and customer relationships in both established and emerging European markets.
  • Stay ahead of device launches, pricing changes and market trends.
  • Establish clear trading controls around credit, stock exposure, FX, returns, fraud risk and margin protection.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in mobile phone, consumer electronics, device trading, distribution, wholesale or a closely related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the European device market.
  • An established network of European suppliers and/or downstream buyers is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating high-volume commercial transactions.
  • A strong understanding of new and used device pricing and grading.
  • Excellent commercial judgement β€” you know when to buy, when to negotiate and when to walk away.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to assess margin and risk quickly.
  • Experience working with multiple currencies and European markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with a strong sense of ownership.
  • The ability to work at pace in a market where prices and opportunities can change quickly.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe when required.

This is an opportunity to take a central role in building and scaling a European device trading operation.

You will have the freedom to develop supplier relationships, identify new trading opportunities and influence how we buy, price and sell devices across European markets.

If you have the network, market knowledge and commercial instinct to buy devices intelligently and turn them into profitable downstream sales, we want to talk to you.

Apply now and help us build the next generation of European device trading.
