We're looking for an experienced Purchasing Enterprise Trader to source, evaluate, and purchase enterprise IT hardware, including:
- Intel-based enterprise servers
- Storage systems and SAN/NAS equipment
- Enterprise networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
- CPUs, memory, SSDs, HDDs, NICs, RAID controllers, power supplies, and other server components
- Refurbished, used, and new enterprise equipment from leading manufacturers
You'll leverage your market knowledge and supplier network to identify opportunities, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure inventory that meets both technical and commercial requirements.
The ideal candidate has:
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise server, storage, and networking hardware
- Strong understanding of current market values and pricing trends
- An established network of suppliers, brokers, distributors, and resellers
- Experience purchasing Intel server platforms and enterprise components
- Ability to identify genuine parts, compatible hardware, and high-demand products
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confidence evaluating product condition, specifications, and resale potential
- Experience sourcing hard-to-find or end-of-life enterprise hardware
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and inventory optimization
