Overview
The Business Development Director will play a dual-focused strategic role responsible for:
- Securing high-volume reverse logistics and repair service partnerships to drive inbound secondary mobile device volumes.
- Expanding refurbished and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) device sales across B2B, eTail and Direct-to-Consumer channels.
This position will focus on delivering profitable and sustainable growth across after-market services, reverse logistics, mobile technology solutions and refurbished device sales, working closely with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), MVNOs, OEMs, retailers and enterprise clients throughout the UK and Europe. You will be instrumental in strengthening market position, driving innovation, and developing strategic partnerships that support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure new profitable business opportunities within reverse logistics, repair services and mobile technology value-added services.
- Drive the growth of used and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) device sales across the UK and Europe.
- Leverage industry relationships and networks to generate high inbound volumes of volumes.
- Expand refurbished device sales into B2B, eTail and D2C channels.
- Lead the Supply Chain product strategy and roadmap to ensure continued innovation and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate on pricing strategies to maintain competitive service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven success in a senior Business Development role within reverse logistics, mobile technology, after-market services or refurbished device sales.
- Extensive network across the UK and European reverse supply chain and secondary smartphone markets.
- Strong understanding of the smartphone secondary sales and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) market.
- Experience developing and maintaining successful strategic partnerships.
