, we\βre seeking a passionate, experienced KYC/AML Compliance Trainer to help learners gain practical, job-ready compliance skills and prepare for successful careers in regulated industries.
Role Overview:
The
KYC/AML Compliance Trainer
will be responsible for delivering and developing engaging, industry-relevant training sessions covering
KYC, AML, Financial Crime, Sanctions, and GDPR
. The trainer will guide learners from classroom instruction to job readiness, providing mentorship, mock interview support, and practical insight into compliance roles.
This role also involves supporting RKY Careers\β wider impact initiatives by participating in
marketing and community activities
, such as taste sessions, webinars, and masterclasses, and creating
pre-recorded learning materials
to enhance learner support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality online sessions on KYC, AML, Financial Crime, Sanctions, and GDPR, using real-life examples and case studies.
- Develop and update training materials, practical exercises, and assessments that reflect current regulatory standards (FCA, FATF, JMLSG, and OFSI).
- Mentor learners throughout their training journey, offering tailored guidance, CV support, and interview preparation to improve job readiness.
- Facilitate interactive workshops and scenario-based discussions to help learners apply theory to practice.
- Collaborate with the RKY Careers team to create and record engaging pre-recorded training videos, tutorials, and learner resources.
- Participate in promotional and marketing initiatives including taste sessions, webinars, and masterclasses to showcase the program and engage prospective learners.
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes, compliance frameworks, and industry developments to ensure content remains relevant and accurate.
- Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment that supports diverse learners transitioning into compliance roles.
Requirements:
Minimum
3β5 years\β hands-on experience
in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, or Regulatory roles within banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
Strong knowledge of
UK and EU regulatory frameworks
(FCA, FATF, JMLSG, OFSI, GDPR).
Experience in
training, coaching, or mentoring
professionals (formal or informal).
Professional certifications such as
ICA, ACAMS, CISI
, or equivalent preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory topics.
Familiarity with
virtual learning environments
and
e-learning tools
is advantageous.
