RKW Ltd has a new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team, located in Stoke on Trent. You will become a key part of our combined Credit Control and Disputes team, taking responsibility for a diverse range of trade accounts, including both ‘traditional’ and e-Commerce retail businesses, of varying sizes and order-volumes, coordinating outstanding payments and debit notes, dealing directly with client stakeholders. A confidence in written and verbal communication will be key, along with using Microsoft / Accounting / ERP platforms to collate and manage data and information.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Working in collaboration with a Credit Control Administrator to minimise debt on an allocated base of customer accounts
- Providing 1-2-1 support to your CCA
- Proactively investigating debit claims and seeing these through to resolve or repayment
- Investigating anomalies for both invoices and debit claims that are withholding payment
- Posting of cash receipts, from multiple bank accounts, for both trade and E-commerce sales
- Liaising with customers to ensure payment will be received in accordance with payment terms
- Raising customer invoices in line with their requirements, ie consolidated invoices on a weekly or monthly basis
- Working within several shared mailboxes
- Proactively chasing of debt via phone and email
- Liaising with internal departments to assist in cash collection and query resolution
- Following collection processes for the reporting of aged debt, through external parties
- Raising of invoices and credits as required
- Any other ad-hoc tasks
- Providing cover for members of the credit control team
Proficient in Microsoft programmes, Excel, Outlook and Word. Experience of D365. Advantage if familiar with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
