Main Purpose of the Role
AYBL is looking for an organised and detail-oriented In-House Stylist to support the preparation, styling, and management of all product samples across brand photoshoots. This role is responsible for ensuring all products are presented to the highest standard across e-commerce, lifestyle, athlete, and campaign shoots, maintaining consistency with the brand’s creative direction and visual identity. Working closely with the Creative, Brand, and Production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring all shoots are executed seamlessly from preparation through to post-shoot organisation.
Responsibilities and duties
- Manage the receipt, organisation, and tracking of all product samples delivered for upcoming shoots, campaigns, and launches.
- Maintain an organised and efficient storage system for all product samples, ensuring all collections are easily accessible, accounted for, and kept in excellent condition.
- Prepare all product rails ahead of photoshoots, ensuring the correct products, colourways, sizes, and collections are organised and ready for production.
- Steam, prepare, and quality check all garments prior to photoshoots, ensuring every product is presented to the highest possible standard.
- Lead styling execution across e-commerce, lifestyle, campaign, social and athlete photoshoots, ensuring all looks are styled in line with brand direction and collection objectives.
- Prepare, organise, and pack all products, accessories, and styling requirements for upcoming photoshoots, ensuring all shoot requirements are accounted for ahead of production.
- Provide on-set styling support during photoshoots, managing outfit changes, garment presentation, styling adjustments, and maintaining consistency throughout shoot days.
- Work closely with the Creative and Brand teams to ensure all styling decisions align with campaign direction, product positioning, and brand identity.
- Oversee the unpacking, organisation, and return of all products post-shoot, ensuring samples are returned to storage in excellent condition and ready for future use.
- Monitor product presentation standards across all shoots and proactively identify opportunities to improve styling execution and overall visual output.
- Manage and maintain photoshoot documents, product spreadsheets, and internal shoot trackers, ensuring all product information is accurately inputted and updated across key shoot planning resources.
- Support wider creative and brand teams with ad hoc photoshoot preparation, styling requests, and production requirements when needed.
- Ensure all styling and product presentation consistently reflects AYBL’s premium brand positioning across all visual content channels.
Person Specification
- Will have a minimum of 1+ years working in a similar styling, fashion, studio, or creative production role.
- Experience working within fashion, retail, e-commerce, or photoshoot production environments.
- Strong understanding of styling, garment presentation, and product preparation.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing product spreadsheets, shoot documents, and sample organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of fashion and current industry trends.
- Confident, self-motivated, and proactive.
