My client is a modern, fast-growing professional services group dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized businesses across the UK and Ireland. They have recently created a Legal division to continue to support their clients. The law business is now looking to hire an experienced employment solicitor, working on a remote basis, to undertake primarily advisory work on behalf of their clients.
The nature of the work will be varied and include:
- Director, employment, and consultancy agreements
- Staff handbooks and offer letters
- Post-termination restrictions
- Workplace disputes and ACAS negotiations
- TUPE matters
Whilst the sources of work are very secure, the role will involve building relationships with a view to spotting further growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years post qualification experience of working on behalf of employers. This is a rare opportunity to work outside the typical law firm model, but allow you to continue building your practice with good quality work. Whilst the role is remote, there will be an expectation to attend some of the offices some of the time for meetings.
