Are you a driven and determined person looking for an exciting career? I’m currently seeking a dynamic individual to join a busy team, part of a wider Group, based in Altrincham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in management accounting, ideally with experience of using the Autoline Rev8 DMS system (also widely known as Kerridge), and with a strong attention to detail.
This is an office based full time role working 40 hours per week. Company car, quarterly and yearly bonuses.
Role Responsibilities:- Produce accurate monthly management accounts according to Group deadlines
- Control of sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, asset register, bank reconciliation and all other Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure strong financial controls are in place throughout the Division
- Prepare year end accounts and supporting documents and be the lead contact for year-end audits for the Division
- Mid-month and monthly forecasts
- Cash flow management
- Work closely alongside the Management Team to produce the annual budgets for the division
- Financial reporting, including composite and ONS reporting
- Completion of accurate and timely VAT returns
- Monthly payroll processing
- Variance analysis to ensure costs are appropriately controlled within the Division
- Ensure adherence to Group policies and completion of the accountant’s checklist monthly
- Manage and develop the accounts team
- Support ongoing business improvement in all departments by providing meaningful financial analysis
- Other responsibilities as reasonably required by the role
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant role, ideally with dealership experience
- Good knowledge and experience of the ‘Keyloop (Kerridge)’ Dealer Management System
- Strong management skills
- Adaptability, excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills with the ability to work well with others at all levels
- Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
