Registered Manager New Childrens Residential Home (EBD / LD)
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are working alongside a new and ambitious childrens residential care provider preparing to open their first childrens home in Oldham, and they are now seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and beyond. The home will support young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). While the provider has a clear vision around quality and child-centred care, they are committed to giving the Registered Manager genuine autonomy to shape the homes culture, model of care, and day-to-day practice. The Responsible Individual is already in place and will provide hands-on, practical support throughout the Ofsted registration process and ongoing operation of the service.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take the lead on:
- Submitting and managing the Ofsted registration application
- Preparing the home for registration and inspection
- Developing the Statement of Purpose, policies, and procedures
- Recruiting, onboarding, and leading the staff team
