Location: Shrewsbury Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (flexible for the right candidate) Type: Full-Time | Permanent Urgent Appointment We are working in partnership with an established children’s residential care provider who are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed EBD home in Shrewsbury. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a proven Registered Manager with a strong track record in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) services, ideally someone confident leading new services and embedding high standards from day one. The Service * New 3-placement EBD children’s home * Experienced structure already in place including: * Responsible Individual * Deputy Manager * 3 Senior Support Workers * Support Worker team * Focused on stability, therapeutic practice and consistent outcomes The Role As Senior Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for: * Overall leadership and management of the home * Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards * Embedding a strong safeguarding and trauma-informed culture * Leading, mentoring and developing the management and care team * Driving quality assurance and preparing for Ofsted inspection * Working closely with the Responsible Individual to deliver high-quality outcomes This role requires someone confident, visible and decisive, able to stabilise, lead and inspire teams within an EBD environment. xcunqrw Requirements * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) * Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD children’s home * Strong Ofsted knowledge with a history of Good or Outstanding outcomes * Confident leadership and people management skills * Ability to take ownership of a service and deliver results What’s on Offer * Salary between £60,000 – £70,000, flexible for the right candidate * Opportunity to lead a new service with an established leadership structure * Strong support from an experienced Responsible Individual * Long-term career stability within a growing provider This is an urgent hire and interviews will be arranged promptly.
