RJS Resourcing is recruiting a Deputy Care Manager for a community complex care service supporting adults and children in their own homes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the realities of delivering care in the community. Based in Wolverhampton, you’ll help launch new care packages, oversee established services and build strong relationships with the people receiving care, their families, care teams and commissioners.

What’s on offer

  • Salary of £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience.

  • Full-time, permanent contract.

  • Mileage paid for client visits and a company pension.

  • Employee referral scheme.

  • Ongoing training and support to gain further qualifications.

  • Support from an experienced complex care leadership team.

  • Opportunities to progress into regional or strategic leadership.

  • The chance to help shape care delivered in people’s own homes.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate the start of new complex care packages and oversee existing services.

  • Visit people receiving care and work with their families to ensure support continues to meet their needs.

  • Review and sign off care plans in collaboration with clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Work with ICBs, local authorities and other professionals, and prepare reports for commissioners.

  • Lead and support care teams through supervision, appraisals and team meetings.

  • Help manage rotas and resolve day-to-day service issues.

  • Participate in the on-call rota.

What you’ll bring

  • At least five years’ experience in home-based or community care.

  • Experience coordinating complex care for both children and adults.

  • An understanding of needs involving ventilation, tracheostomies, spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries and bowel care.

  • The ability to lead care teams and maintain high standards in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Confidence working with people receiving care, families and commissioners.

  • A driving licence and access to your own vehicle for regional travel.

  • Flexibility to support service needs outside standard office hours when required, including early mornings, evenings or weekends.

If you have strong community and complex care experience and are ready for a wider leadership role, we’d love to hear from you.
