We’re working in partnership with a well-established, values-led children’s residential care provider who are seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to take over the leadership of an established 3-bed EBD home in Watford. This service has been operating successfully for over three years and is currently rated Good by Ofsted. The current Registered Manager is relocating, creating an excellent opportunity for a confident, therapeutic leader to step into a stable, well-supported home and continue driving high standards of care.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations
- Maintain and build upon a Good rating, with a clear pathway to Outstanding
- Provide strong, values-led leadership to an established staff team
- Embed trauma-informed, therapeutic practice throughout the home
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership and external professionals
- Champion positive outcomes for young people with EBD
The Ideal Candidate
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Proven experience managing a children’s residential home
- A track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- A therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to care
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
