We are working with a values-led care provider seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Leader to support a person with complex needs in a highly personalised, community-based setting. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work on shift, guiding a small team to deliver consistent, person-centred support. You’ll play a key role in building trust, understanding communication styles, and creating a calm, structured environment where the individual feels safe and supported.
This opportunity would suit someone ready to step up from a senior Support Worker role or an existing team leader looking for a more meaningful, relationship-led service. Sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have UK Right to Work in place to be considered.
Package- ÂŁ13.20 per hour + 40p complex service enhancement
- Full-time contract (40 hours per week)

- Support and guide a small team to maintain consistent, calm practice
- Build a trusting relationship with the individual through patience and understanding
- Promote “nothing about me without me” in all aspects of care and support planning
- Adapt approaches based on behaviour, communication, and emotional needs
- Work collaboratively with family members and wider professionals
- Monitor and improve team practice through coaching and feedback
- Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment at all times
- Minimum 2 years’ UK experience in a Support Worker role (similar needs)
- Experience Supporting Individuals With Learning Disabilities And/or Autism
- Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn individual communication styles
- Interest in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles
- Ability to lead, support, and develop others in a team setting
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends
- Full UK Driving Licence Preferred But Not Essential
