Part 2 Architectural Assistant Fixed Term Location: Surrey, within the M25, near Hampton Court Palace Salary: £28,000£32,000 Contract: Fixed Term initially 3 months, with potential to extend Working Pattern: Full-Time, Office-Based Start Date: Immediate We are working with an established architecture practice in Surrey who are looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team on an initial three-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for the role to be extended. This is an office-based position suited to someone local to the area who is confident using AutoCAD and is also comfortable supporting wider graphic and presentation work when required. The Role The successful candidate will primarily support the practice's residential planning work, producing drawings and assisting with projects through the relevant stages. Alongside the architectural work, you will also have the opportunity to support the graphics team, helping to cover staff requirements and contribute to presentation and graphic output. Your responsibilities will include: Producing architectural drawings using AutoCAD Supporting residential planning projects Assisting with drawing production and project documentation Creating and editing presentation material when required Supporting the graphics team during periods of additional demand Using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign Producing and developing SketchUp models Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet project deadlines About You We are looking for a Part 2 Architecture graduate with: A Part 2 qualification in Architecture Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Experience using SketchUp Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign An interest in residential architecture and planning Good attention to detail and organisational skills A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the practice The ability to work effectively within an office-based team Ideally, based locally to the Surrey office Whats on Offer £28,000£32,000 salary depending on experience Initial 3-month fixed-term contract Potential for the contract to be extended Immediate start available Opportunity to gain further experience within residential planning Exposure to both architectural and graphic/presentation work Collaborative office environment in Surrey, close to Hampton Court Palace If you're a Part 2 graduate with strong AutoCAD skills and are available for an immediate start, we'd be keen to hear from you.
