An exciting opportunity has become available for two Residential Support Workers to join a brand-new children's residential home in Oldbury. This provider is committed to creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can build confidence, develop independence and achieve positive life outcomes. As part of the founding team, you'll help shape the home's culture from the very beginning.

The Role

  • Providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people
  • Building positive, trusting relationships
  • Supporting education, routines and life skills
  • Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times
  • Completing daily records and care documentation
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • Following a 3-day on, 4-day off shift pattern

About You

  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children
  • Previous residential childcare experience (preferred)
  • Experience within another care setting will also be considered
  • Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Ability to commute locally to Oldbury
