We are recruiting a compassionate female Support Worker to join a specialist day service supporting adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, experienced team delivering meaningful, person-centred support in a structured daytime environment.
Package:
- £13.31 per hour (days)
- Part-time contract (16+ hours)
- Day shifts only
- Paid induction, shadowing and specialist training

Responsibilities:
- Supporting adults with PMLD and complex health needs
- Delivering person-centred support within a day service
- Assisting with personal care, moving and handling and daily routines
- Supporting activities that promote engagement and wellbeing
- Following detailed care and support plans
- Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records
- Promoting dignity, choice and independence
Requirements:
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities preferred
- Female applicants only due to service user requirements
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Driver not essential
- Compassionate, patient and reliable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
