We’re looking for experienced Community Carers who genuinely care about supporting people to live comfortably, safely, and independently in their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care with dignity and respect
- Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication prompts, and light household duties
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accurately record care notes and report any concerns appropriately
- Travel between client homes within the local area
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience ideally in a community or domiciliary care role (other settings will be considered such as nursing homes, residential, live-in, hospital, supported living)
- A genuine, compassionate approach to care
- Good communication skills and professional reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Up-to-date DBS or willingness to apply for one
- Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care) is advantageous but not essential or willingness to obtain
