Were supporting a growing childrens care provider in recruiting a Deputy Manager for a brand-new 2-bed home near Cheshunt, catering to young people with mild Learning Disabilities (LD) or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Requirements:
-
Experience in childrens residential care, ideally supporting those with LD and/or EBD
-
Previous role as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or similar, with strong shift-leading and safeguarding knowledge

Working towards or holding Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards

Strong leadership qualities and ability to support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations

Confident in staff supervision, rota planning, record keeping, and supporting young people through care plans

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regulatory bodies

Must be flexible, committed, and ready to work as part of an on-call rota
