The predicted salary is between 28000 - 29000 £ per year.

We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to provide 2:1, 24-hour care for an individual with very complex mental health needs, including:

  • Eating disorders
  • High-risk self-harm behaviours (including ligaturing)
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Potential requirement for physical intervention/restraint in line with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

Shift patterns are 12 hours shifts, 10pm-10am, night shifts required at present - may be opportunity for day shifts in the future.

Package:

  • Pay: 13.55 per hour (weekdays) | 13.70 per hour (weekends)
  • Included: Holiday pay, sick pay, pension
  • Leave: 28 days annual leave
  • Pay cycle: Monthly pay with annual reviews each April
  • Hours: Guaranteed contracted hours

  • Training: Full face-to-face induction, Care Certificate

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, person-centred, trauma-informed support at all times
  • Maintain constant observation and risk management where required
  • Support with meal plans, routines, emotional regulation and daily living
  • Respond appropriately to incidents of self-harm or escalating behaviour
  • Use de-escalation strategies and approved physical interventions
