Our client had an exciting newly created role for a Clinical Trainer to join their growing award wining team. Youll be responsible for delivering engaging, face-to-face and online clinical training to care staff across Devon and Cornwall. Youll also support induction programmes, assess clinical competencies, and promote best practice through hands-on mentoring and coaching. Package: Full time permanent contract £17.50ph Paid mileage and travel expenses Flexible working arrangements Ongoing CPD and clinical supervision Opportunities for progression and development Supportive and friendly team environment Other perks and benefits Chance to make a difference Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical training including the following : Medication management / PEG and enteral feeding / Suction and airway care / Catheter, bowel, and stoma care / Epilepsy and diabetes awareness / Moving & handling, infection control, end-of-life care / Clinical record-keeping and condition-specific topics Support staff inductions and competency assessments Update training content based on current guidance (CQC, NICE, Skills for Care) Provide refresher training and reassess staff as needed Ensure all training meets CQC Regulations 12 and 18 Maintain accurate records and compliance dashboards Identify training needs via audits, incidents, and feedback Requirements: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) or qualified clinical care professional At least 2 years\’ experience in a clinical training or supervisory role Confident delivering adult learning in both group and 1:1 settings Practical knowledge of community-based clinical procedures Education or training qualification (e.g. PTLLS, Level 3 Award) Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Passionate about learning and development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, organised, and confident in clinical assessment Committed to dignity, respect, and person-centred values Ideally Safeguarding Adults Level 3 Experience preferred within in domiciliary care, supported living, or complex needs setting Please submit your CV for full details and to discuss the role.
