We are partnering with an established and ambitious children's residential provider who are opening a brand-new 3-bed EBD home in Warrington. They are now looking to complete their staffing team with dedicated Residential Care Workers and Senior Residential Care Workers who are passionate about improving the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new home from the very beginning and help shape a stable, nurturing and child-centred environment.

The Role:
Supporting the Registered Manager and wider team, you will:
- Provide high-quality, consistent care to children and young people aged 8-17
- Support daily routines, appointments, education, activities, family time and community engagement
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional resilience and independence
- Work as part of a rota including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
- Maintain accurate records, logs and safeguarding documentation
- Ensure the home operates in line with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Support behaviour management and respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations
- Promote a safe, nurturing and child-centred living environment
- Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals and external agencies
Senior Care Workers will also:
- Take responsibility for leading shifts and directing staff
- Support staff mentoring, development and adherence to professional boundaries
- Assist with quality assurance checks, audits and monitoring processes
- Act as a point of support for the team in the Registered Manager's absence
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working within children's residential care (EBD experience desirable)
- Level 3 Children & Young People/Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential for RSW roles)
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Resilience, patience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Ability to work as part of a rota, including sleep-ins
- Full UK driving licence (highly desirable)
