The provider is keen to appoint a confident, hands-on leader who can set the tone, embed strong practice, and drive the home towards consistently high standards.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring it is safe, compliant, and nurturing. You will lead the staff team, oversee safeguarding and care planning, and ensure the service meets all Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
Key responsibilities include:

- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
- Leading, supporting, and developing the staff team
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and achieving positive inspection outcomes
- Care planning, risk management, and quality assurance
- Building positive relationships with local authorities and professionals
About You

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong experience within children’s residential care (EBD experience preferred)
- A confident, resilient, and values-led leadership style
- Proven understanding of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory requirements
What’s on Offer
- Salary of £60,000 – £70,000 per annum
- Welcome bonus
- Opportunity to discuss up to 10% equity for the right candidate
- Autonomy to lead a small, specialist service with real impact
Additional Opportunity – Responsible Individual (RI)
The provider is also open to appointing an experienced Responsible Individual to support the service on a 1-day-per-week basis. This could suit an established RI looking to add a high-quality, low-occupancy home to their portfolio.
