We are seeking a highly skilled Governance & Frameworks Manager to lead the development and oversight of our enterprise-wide governance framework. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation operates in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards, promoting transparency, consistency, and accountability across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance the organisation’s governance framework
- Establish and maintain effective governance structures, including committees and reporting lines
- Lead the development and management of the full policy lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including those set by the UK Gambling Commission
- Oversee governance reporting, including dashboards, management information, and board papers
- Monitor adherence to governance standards and elevate risks or breaches
- Ensure alignment between policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Act as a key liaison between Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, and operational teams
- Provide expert governance guidance to senior stakeholders
- Support governance committees, including preparation of materials and tracking actions
- Monitor regulatory developments and lead updates to policies and frameworks
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and assurance activities
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, standardisation, and automation
About You
- Strong experience in governance, risk, compliance, or assurance roles
- In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practice governance
- Experience working in a regulated environment (preferably gambling, financial services, or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence at senior levels and drive organisational change
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to spend 3 days in Warrington
