We are working in close partnership with an exceptional organisation to appoint an Ofsted Service Manager who will play a key role in shaping and leading vital services.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop high-quality supported accommodation services for young people across multiple locations. As the Registered Manager, you will take full ownership of service delivery, ensuring safe, structured, and empowering environments where young people can develop independence and life skills.
You will be responsible for driving standards, leading teams, and maintaining regulatory compliance, while creating a culture that promotes positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Provide overall leadership across 4 supported living accommodation settings, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Create environments that promote independence, stability, and positive progression for young people.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
- Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager and maintain full compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Ensure services are inspection-ready at all times through robust systems and oversight.
- Lead on audits, service reviews, and quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
- Take ownership of safeguarding practices, ensuring concerns are appropriately identified, recorded, and escalated.
- Promote a strong safeguarding culture across all services.
- Provide regular supervision, focusing on performance, well-being, and professional development.
- Support, challenge, and coach staff to deliver consistent, high standards of care.
- Oversee referrals, assessments, placements, and transition planning for young people.
Financial Oversight
- Manage service budgets, ensuring financial performance is monitored and controlled.
- Balance cost efficiency with the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of supported accommodation frameworks and safeguarding practices.
- Proven ability to manage compliance, inspections, and quality standards.
- Experience in service expansion, transformation, or multi-site management.
- Knowledge of housing-related responsibilities within supported accommodation models.
