ROLE OVERVIEW

RIXO is looking for a Merchandising Admin Assistant to ensure our stock is in the right place and on time to support our exciting company growth. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic individual looking to start their career in merchandising in a fast-growing business.

The ideal candidate for this role will be dynamic, organised, and enthusiastic about driving sales opportunities through optimising inventory availability and control. You will work closely with the production and wholesale teams to oversee all intake across our wholesale and direct channels and then decide where best to allocate it to once it arrives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trade Reporting
    • Running weekly trade packs and updating the merch team on topline numbers.
    • Develop an excellent working knowledge of our stock management system to ensure planning/trading is managed accurately ensuring full visibility of stock and delivery dates.
    • Attend weekly trade meetings and regular store visits to build a clear understanding of the stock requirements of each store to support allocations.
  • Intake
    • Oversee all stock intake into both our UK and Belgian DC ensuring stock arrives on time.
    • Raise all purchase orders accurately and distribute to suppliers.
    • Attend weekly production updates with suppliers and ensure any changes to delivery dates are updated in the relevant systems and stakeholders are updated.
    • Approve all deliveries to leave suppliers and arrange the most suitable freight method to bring the stock into the business.
  • Manages Self and Others
    • Support and share best practice and knowledge with the rest of the merchandising dept and wider business.
    • Key point of contact for any queries regarding stock availability and intake throughout the business.
