Responsibilities:
- The School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with a range of special educational needs.
- Your main purpose is to work directly with vulnerable students, including those at school support or with an Education Health Care Plan, within the resource provision; taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision (subject to the direction and supervision of the SENDCO).
- Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups/whole classes.
- Monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on student achievement, progress and development.
- Management and development of a specialist area within the school and/or supervision of other teaching assistants including appraisal and training.
