Riviera Travel is embarking on a major transformation of our core Reservations Platform, one of the most important systems in our award-winning tour operator business. To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced C#/.NET Software Engineer to join its technology team at an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and building high-quality backend solutions that underpin a range of innovative, customer-facing products.
The role:
- As a C#/.NET Software Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative product engineering squad to design and deliver high‑quality backend services and RESTful APIs that underpin our new platform.
- You’ll partner with architecture, product owners, and fellow engineers in an agile setup, contributing to delivery as well as the continual improvement of engineering practices.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET.
- Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure technical solutions are well understood, agreed, and aligned with strategic direction.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Contribute to improving development processes, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and software design patterns.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with Azure PaaS services.
- Proficiency with SQL Server and relational database design.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
