Riviera Travel is embarking on a major transformation of our core Reservations Platform, one of the most important systems in our award-winning tour operator business. To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced C#/.NET Software Engineer to join its technology team at an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and building high-quality backend solutions that underpin a range of innovative, customer-facing products.
As a C#/.NET Software Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative product engineering squad to design and deliver high-quality backend services and RESTful APIs that underpin our new platform. You’ll partner with architecture, product owners, and fellow engineers in an agile setup, contributing to delivery as well as the continual improvement of engineering practices.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET
- Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure technical solutions are well understood, agreed, and aligned with strategic direction.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Contribute to improving development processes, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SOLID principles and software design patterns.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, SOLID principles, and common design patterns
- Experience with Azure PaaS services
- Proficiency with SQL Server and relational database design
- Experience working in agile delivery teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
