This is a chance to join a highly collaborative programme team that is delivering meaningful and lasting change. You will work closely with internal experts, external partners, and key stakeholders to help shape the future of our operations and ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to a modern and efficient platform.

About the Role

As our Business Analyst, you will be a central figure in understanding how our business operates today and defining how it will operate in the future. From documenting current processes to designing new ones, you will bring structure, clarity, and analytical thinking to every stage of this transformation. You will facilitate workshops, gather and interpret business needs, write clear requirements, and create user stories that help our development and implementation teams deliver solutions that truly meet operational needs. You will also play a key part in planning and supporting User Acceptance Testing and ensuring teams are ready to adopt the new system. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Document current and future business processes clearly and accurately
  • Create transitional processes to account for dual running of current and new systems
  • Plan, facilitate and document workshops involving business subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Write detailed business requirements based on SME and stakeholder input
  • Create user stories that describe how users will interact with the system
  • Work with both internal and external consultants to develop test cases and acceptance criteria to ensure the system meets business needs
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
  • Work closely with implementation analysts and IT developers to ensure requirements are understood and delivered
  • Support the development of training materials for end users
  • Assist with business change activities to help teams adopt the new system
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments
  • Work independently and manage workload efficiently within a small team

What you'll need:

  • At least five years of experience using Business Analysis techniques, including formal process notation such as BPMN 2.0
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data flows, and best practice documentation
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, and test cases
  • Hands on involvement in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience supporting business change and training activities
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in business, IT, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with booking systems or travel industry processes
  • Previous experience on large system transformation or platform replacement programmes
