Overview
The purpose of this role is to support the development of our Anaplan roadmap, and to design, develop, and maintain our Anaplan models. This role is pivotal in driving greater capability and efficiency in planning, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis in a broad range of applications across the business. You will work closely with Finance, Product, Marketing, Technology & Change and Operational teams to gather and translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Anaplan roadmap with input from the wider business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Anaplan solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models and UX dashboards to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational analysis.
- Optimise model performance and usability, ensuring alignment with Anaplan best practices.
- Stay current with Anaplan developments, identify those relevant to the business needs, and lead solution development with cost-benefit analysis and user engagement.
- Lead the rollout of new modules and features, including user training and documentation to end-users.
- Maintain data integrations between Anaplan and other systems (e.g., booking platform (ERP)).
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Participate in sprint planning, UAT, and deployment activities as part of the Anaplan development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party consultants supporting delivery of the Anaplan roadmap.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience building and maintaining Anaplan models in a commercial business environment.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling principles and business planning processes.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Anaplan Level 1 and Level 2 Model Builder certifications (Level 3 desirable). Familiarity with The Anaplan Way methodology.
- Exposure to project management practices and agile delivery.
- Self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, and resilience to succeed in a fast paced and challenging environment, working semi-independently and managing multiple priorities.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 and other benefits include a performance based bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance of 27 days, with the option of buying an additional 5 days, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, health and wellbeing programme, discounts on our award winning holidays and much more!
