We are seeking caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support residents in UK care homes. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in line with CQC standards. Weekly pay available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Support residents with mobility and daily living activities
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing
- Report and record changes in residents’ condition
- Assist with care plans and daily documentation
- Support nurses and senior carers with clinical tasks
- Promote dignity, privacy, and respect at all times
- Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures
- Participate in handovers and team meetings
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant / Care Assistant (UK care home preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days/nights/weekends)
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience in elderly care, dementia care, or nursing homes
- Up-to-date mandatory training (Manual Handling, Safeguarding, BLS)
- Immediate availability
