We are currently recruiting for a
Hygiene Operative
to join a busy factory environment near Penrith, Cumbria.
This is an important role within the production operation, helping to ensure the factory remains clean, safe and compliant and that hygiene standards are maintained to a consistently high level.
The Role:
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning and hygiene duties throughout the factory, whilst ensuring safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes real pride in getting things right.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out cleaning and hygiene tasks across the factory
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout production areas
Completing routine hygiene and safety checks
Following cleaning schedules and procedures
Using cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly
Identifying and reporting any hygiene, safety or maintenance issues
Ensuring all relevant records and checks are completed accurately
Working closely with the production team
Following all company health, safety and hygiene procedures
Supporting a clean, safe and efficient working environment
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a hygiene, cleaning or factory environment
Red-hot when it comes to safety checks and following procedures
Thorough and pays attention to detail
Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working in a busy factory environment
Able to work independently but also as part of a team
Safety-conscious and takes pride in maintaining high standards
Flexible and willing to get stuck in
What's on offer?
From £13.30 per hour
40 hours per week (Generally 7:45am - 4:45pm)
Free transport available, subject to availability.
