The role ensures the Salesforce platform is successfully implemented and utilized across stakeholders within the organisation, supporting business teams with user acceptance testing, training, and ongoing adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the bridge between the Salesforce Squad and business colleagues, ensuring successful implementation of product change within daily user activities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including the Project Manager, Business Managers, People Services, IT and Communications to ensure the business change is planned and delivered effectively and on time.
- Produce a Business Adoption Plan that aligns with the overall project plan and builds business confidence that everything is ready for adoption of new solutions and products.
- Identify, plan and manage implementation activities required for a smooth transition, working with operational stakeholders to determine changes to processes, procedures, systems and behaviours.
- Act as a conduit between change, delivered products and the business, building, maintaining and leveraging trust‑based relationships.
- Form a partnership with the business to provide a safe and constructive feedback loop back to BT teams, ensuring incremental improvement.
- Support the design, building and testing of solutions, considering impact on business and customers, acting as the 'voice of the customer' when appropriate.
- Design, schedule and deliver training tailored to the audience and delivered over the most appropriate channels.
- Identify and remove blockers to successful implementation by working closely with the Delivery Manager.
- Ensure effective communications are delivered to all key stakeholders related to change, including creation, publication and curation of content across appropriate channels.
- Ensure that all policy and procedural requirements of the role are adhered to.
- Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required.
- Form deep partnerships with Subject Matter Experts and call on their expertise to smooth transition.
- Ensure the business area fully supports project delivery by assigning appropriate resources, including Subject Matter Experts.
- Monitor the progress of business adoption activities within the assigned project and target business area, reporting on progress including risks and issues and attending and contributing to relevant governance forums (RPR/PSG) and business meetings as required.
- Monitor and manage the operational impact of changes, including the impact on Business As Usual (BAU) activity, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance levels, collaborating with key business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks to delivery of business objectives.
- Work closely with Business Architects to define and implement appropriate checks and measures to monitor change benefits, ensuring new systems, processes and behaviours are embedded effectively to guarantee future success and desired business outcomes.
- Identify requirements for additional project implementation effort and resources required to ensure successful implementation.
- Work with key stakeholders including Business Procedures Analysts to review and update any key business processes and operating procedures changed or impacted by allocated cross‑cutting projects.
- Deliver agreed technical training and support e‑learning through third‑party suppliers, ensuring the target audience can fully utilise new business processes and/or operating procedures associated with IT and business changes.
- Support business colleagues during the User Acceptance Testing process on allocated projects.
- Hand over fit‑for‑purpose business processes, operating procedures and training materials to key stakeholders for repeat business‑as‑usual use following the go‑live of new solutions on allocated projects.
- Support continuous improvement through routine and bespoke analysis, including stakeholder feedback and risk identification to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Key Qualifications
- Experience of managing and delivering change and adoption for Salesforce.
- Experience of delivering classroom and virtual training.
- Experience of successfully managing business change within a large, complex multi‑site organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management with a track record of building strong working relationships and the ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
- Strong planning and organising skills, ideally with previous experience in a project environment.
- Awareness of project management methodologies.
- Understanding of risk management principles.
- Customer‑focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work at all levels within the business.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
