We are looking for a dedicated professional to drive our estate services team. The role involves attending various Riverside site locations, maintaining and monitoring communal spaces, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of residential areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties: vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, litter picking, and dog waste removal.
- Keep car parks and bin sheds swept and tidy.
- Clear bulk waste from sites when not delegated to the bulk waste team.
- Report matters to management, including health & safety concerns and any issues affecting interior and exterior maintenance.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Provide occasional cover for other staff due to sickness, holidays, etc., and perform occasional extra duties.
- Carry out weed control, sweeping, litter picking, and general grounds maintenance where trained.
- Perform patrol duties, checking for faulty street lamps and signs of anti‑social behaviour.
- Attend sites and clear bulk waste and fly‑tipped rubbish.
- Skim bin in case of missed collection.
About You – Essential Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, tools and product selection.
- Experience with powered equipment, including hoovers and hand tools.
- Appropriate competency‑based training and experience.
- Knowledge and experience of correct use of PPE.
- Competence in risk perception, including risks to passers‑by during operations.
Desirable Qualifications
- PA1/PA6 pesticide application experience.
- BICS or similar cleaning industry certificates.
- First aid at work or similar qualifications.
- H&S certificates.
