The difference you will make as a Compliance Coordinator (Security):
- Support Building Safety shared spaces by co-ordinating compliance activity and administering compliance systems and maintenance and services contracts, to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide efficient and effective planning, administrative and technical support as required.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience of working within an Asset Services team, ideally supporting compliance activity.
- Effective contract management skills, including supporting the management of service and maintenance contracts.
- Clear understanding of risk management and compliance requirements for areas of risk.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance enquiries effectively, providing clear, supportive and accurate advice or signposting as appropriate, escalating complaints and complex queries as needed to ensure effective resolution.
- Co-ordinate compliance activities for a range of stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, Group colleagues and customers, ensuring compliance works are carried out effectively and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in monitoring progress of compliance works, including works carried out by third-party contractors, ensuring contract obligations are fulfilled in line with agreed performance frameworks, and where under performance is identified, escalated via agreed routes.
- Co-ordinate post inspections of works to ensure adherence to specifications, work orders and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and Group policies and standards.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, including logging of reports, risk assessments and certificates using appropriate systems, ensuring data integrity and enabling regular analysis and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Teams, including preparing and providing work orders, resolving invoice queries, running reports and producing budgetary and performance information.
- Support Compliance Officers in managing compliance certificate activity, including checking, processing, communications to stakeholders, storage and anniversary planning to ensure robust compliance across the Group.
- Process payments for approved contracted works as required, ensuring expenditure is managed in line with the Group's financial controls.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including colleagues, third-party suppliers, solicitors and Environmental Health Officers, building constructive working relationships to deliver compliance objectives.
- Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with the Group’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures; respond flexibly to changes in work priorities and undertake other duties as required.
- Ensure that all data protection requirements are met in accordance with the Group’s policy and statutory requirements.

Additional Information:
- The Group has offices across the UK and there may be a requirement to travel to other locations to perform this role, with regular support to teams in London and Liverpool.

Person Specification:
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working within an Asset Services team, ideally supporting compliance activity.
- Effective contract management skills, including management of service and maintenance contracts.
- Clear understanding of risk management and compliance requirements for relevant areas of risk.
- Effective stakeholder management, internally and externally, with ability to persuade and influence others.
- Customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work at all levels.
- Results-driven with strong analytical skills and experience providing meaningful management information.
- Excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Compliance ICT systems including Housing Management Systems (e.g., Academy/Open Housing) and related tools.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of security systems (door entry, access control, CCTV, etc.).
- Experience in asset compliance or health and safety roles supporting compliance teams.
- Knowledge of Open Housing or similar Housing Management system.
