Job descriptionAre you a 7.5tn Driver looking for excellent rates of pay, at fulfilling driving job with a trusted and reputable company?? We have the role for you!Our client is a much-loved brand, and due to an increase in demand, we are looking for HGV Class 2 & 7.5tn Drivers to support their busy operation with an immediate start.We are looking for night drivers, but can offer day shifts (£16.53 7.5tn & £19.51 Class 2) as well. This role works well for those who are happy to do either depending on the shift patterns posted. About the 7.5tn Driver roleYou will be responsible for moving parcels and mail across the North West. As a 7.5tn Driver, you will be an integral part of the business, spending a lot of time working independently on the road. We are looking for drivers with a ‘can-do’ attitude as interaction with the load will be required. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle. Stable Employment: Royal Mail has a long-standing history as a trusted employer, providing stable and reliable employment opportunities for their team members.Team Environment: You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working with fellow professionals who share your passion for delivering excellent service to their customers. All Requirements that MUST be met for a 7.5tn Driver include:
  • All candidates must have held their Cat C licence for 2 years
  • Valid in-date CPC 
  • No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
  • No more than 3 Tacho infringements (this will be checked prior to the assessment being booked)
  • 180 days driving experience with class of licence in the last 2 years
  • 90 days of tacho data in last 6 months
