We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Riverside Vets in Edinburgh. Offering a competitive salary of up to £60k (depending on experience), along with a comprehensive benefits package, this full-time, permanent position offers 40 hours per week, spread over four days.
The role involves joining a collaborative environment where our vets regularly discuss cases and work together on clinical and quality improvements. With top-level equipment and a strong nursing team to support you, we are committed to providing exceptional care. Our advanced clinical skills network team works alongside us, and we have a strong focus on rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to manage your own patients in-house, with a dedicated overnight Registered Veterinary Nurse and inpatient vet on-site. While a certificate holder would be ideal, we are more than happy to support further certificate work to help you develop your skills.
You will be joining a practice with state-of-the-art equipment to assess, assist and treat clients' pets, ensuring we provide a consistently excellent standard of care. You will enjoy working with a forward-thinking clinical team of Vets, Nurses, Receptionists and Patient Care Assistants to continue to help the practice grow and drive clinical excellence. Salary and Hours: The salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus benefits. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week over 4 days with a set day off per week. You will work 1 in 3 Saturdays along with one late inpatient shift. Our practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:30 and Saturdays 08:30 to 16:30.
