Veterinary Surgeon wanted for a friendly independent practice in beautiful Callander with a branch practice in Stirling. We are an exciting young small group of vets with three clinics in Scotland, looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team; pay dependent on experience and responsibilities. The successful candidates will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients. Must be able to do sole charge and emergency care.
We are offering permanent opportunities for one veterinary surgeon. Our practice is purpose-built and well equipped, offering varied surgical/medical caseload. The Stirling branch is consults only with the ability to run diagnostics at this site. Your schedule will include a rotated weekend rota but no out of hours work. The practice is located in Central Scotland, near Stirling, with easy transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Responsibilities:- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health conditions.
- Performing surgeries and other procedures as required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest veterinary technologies and techniques.
- Participating in continuous education and training programs to further develop your skills and knowledge.
- Be able to work sole charge if needed.
- A degree in veterinary medicine from a recognised university.
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
