Riverside School invites applications for the role of Teaching Assistant, which may be based at any of our four sites: St Paul's Cray, Beckenham, West Wickham or Bromley.

Salary & Working Hours

Salary BR7 (actual salary approx. £26,494 - 28,577 pa). Pro rata term time only; 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

About Riverside School

Riverside is a highly regarded all‑age special school for children with severe and complex learning difficulties, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum. We aim to provide specialist education and foster a happy, safe, and exceptional learning environment for our diverse population of 358 pupils.

Role Overview

You will support pupils with complex needs to achieve true fulfilment, helping to transform their lives and those of their families.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience of working with pupils with a diverse range of needs would be an advantage. All appointments require satisfactory references, clearance of a full DBS check and satisfactory health clearance.
