Truck Technician in Wellingborough

• Rygor Service Solutions, Wellingborough
• £20 per hour, rate set on experience
• Range of shifts available
• Day-to-day responsibilities
• Perform major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
• Perform regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
• Maintain inventory in the workshop and ensure cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
• Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Maintain records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
• Provide repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Complete relevant documentation and paperwork as required and provide warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds, or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance.
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards.
• Current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
