As an HGV Technician for Rygor, your role will be to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road through quality, safe and compliant maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
- Maintain workshop inventory and keep the workshop clean.
- Work with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs for vehicles.
- Maintain records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
- Provide repair services to clients on the road in emergencies.
- Complete relevant documentation and paperwork and manage warranty claims or escalation as required.
- Provide in-house training to recruits and trainees.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualified HGV technician, or Level 2 qualified HGV technician with the intention to complete IRTEC Inspection Accreditation within the first couple of weeks.
- Previous working experience as an HGV technician with a strong technical background.
- Computer literate and comfortable using technology.
