Location: Reading

Employment type: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, 30 min unpaid break - 45hr week (open to flexible working discussions)

Salary: Basic rate DOE - uncapped commission, Vehicle allowance.

This role is field‑based. The position focuses on finding new business from the first door knock to closing the deal and fostering long‑term relationships with fleet customers.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Researching assigned areas to identify new business opportunities, utilising your resilience and perseverance to book in sales meetings and close the deal with new customers as well as existing opportunities.
  • Promptly answering phone calls and assisting walk‑ins and wholesale customers with their needs when you work at a site, ensuring no opportunity is left unexplored.
  • Establishing and fostering positive relationships with other departments, especially after‑sales, to ensure a seamless and brilliant experience for our customers.
  • Concluding sales contracts and making required amendments, always ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer database management – it is essential to keep your customer records up to date to ensure best practice and customer communication.
  • Promoting current sales campaigns, achieving sales targets.
  • First‑class vehicle handovers and recording customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, beginning from lead generation till closing deals – making sure you close the loop.
  • Develop business strategies that help the organisation in increasing sales and lead to growth.
