Rygor Auto, Heathrow — HGV Technician at the UK’s largest Mercedes‑Benz commercial vehicle dealership. Salary base £36,000‑£38,000 (DOE) with overtime at time and a half, 37.5‑hour week with various shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform major and minor repairs to Mercedes‑Benz trucks.
  • Carry out regular inspections and general preventive maintenance services.
  • Maintain workshop inventory and keep the area clean from oil spills and dust.
  • Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs.
  • Record all repairs using Keyloop/Kerridge modules.
  • Complete relevant documentation and process warranty claims, escalating when necessary.
  • Perform wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
  • Prepare customer documentation within agreed time‑frames.

Required Skills & Behaviours

  • Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
  • Experience in diagnostics and service repairs.
  • Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA Standards.
  • Current full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes.
