They have over 50 years of experience as a Mercedes-Benz dealership group, dedicated to looking after their customers with exceptional sales and aftersales support.
The Truck Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth of Mercedes-Benz Truck products by identifying and converting new business opportunities, building strong relationships with SME and fleet businesses, and delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with Mercedes-Benz and Saga brand values.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Actively prospect and develop new leads within the truck market segment across the UK.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients across the UK.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the truck models, features, and specifications.
- Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative selling approach to understand client needs.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and contracts with clients.
- Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline and effectively prioritise activities.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
On Offer: Basic salary of £35,000 plus commission and benefits. OTE £75,000 (based on selling 60 units). Company vehicle, pension.
About You: Previous experience of selling commercial vehicles is required. Strong B2B sales experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in IT are essential. A valid, clean driver’s licence is required.
