The Job

Sandown Group is looking for a Vehicle Sales Executive to join their Newbury team and represent the full Chery range.
You’ll support customers as they explore these modern, tech‑forward vehicles and guide them confidently through the buying process.

Duties will include
- Assisting customers in finding their desired vehicle.
- Contacting interested parties and customers by telephone and in writing to generate Sales Leads.
- Conducting face-to-face meetings
- Informing and advising visitors on the full Chery range of vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data and other information
- Evaluating used cars and conducting appraisals of customers’ vehicles
- Assessing the condition of Trade Ins and ensuring all defects /damage are reported and recorded prior to a Part Exchange price being agreed.
- Organising and carrying out test-drives and evaluating results.
- Involvement in sales events.
- Guaranteeing a professional level of product presentation (price marking, accessibility, cleanliness, etc).
Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as is a proactive approach and determination to sell cars.
Successful candidates will currently be working in sales in the motor trade.
On Offer
The showroom is open from 8.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17:00 Saturday and 10:00 – 16:00 Sunday.
Weekend work on a rota basis will be required; however, a 5-day week will be worked.
41 hours per week
Applicants must hold a full driving licence.
