Seeking a Beverage Route Merchandiser to support the surrounding territory of Appling, Bacon, Pierce, Ware and Wayne counties for a local beverage company in Georgia. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Drive within the assigned territory to work back inventory stock, including handling cases and bottles of beverages for sale or storage.
- Maintain the back stock areas to allow for a safe and efficient work area.
- Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections with accounts, including shelf allocation and stocking cooler equipment with appropriate merchandise, ensuring there is no out-of-stock product.
- Efficiently rotate products each time in designated accounts.
- Maintain the cleanliness of sales floor, shelves, and equipment.
- Perform beverage resets.
- Build product displays and maintain point of sale as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
- Perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Dependability, cheerful outlook, and ability to work independently with little supervision; self‑motivated.
- Ability to operate a manual power jack or lift product.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to repetitively push and pull products weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, waist, or below the knees and bending at the knees.
- Strong relationship building skills with customers and internal associates.
- Excellent oral, analytical, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; demonstrated knowledge of iPad tablets is preferred.
- Proactive identification of issues, recommending solutions, multitasking, and staying organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and successful passage of a criminal background check.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate.
- Prior distribution, merchandising, and retail sales experience in beverage, grocery, and convenience stores preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check, Criminal Background Check, and Drug Screening.
